Rescheduled Events

If a golf outing has been scheduled; the participant count given to the golf course; and the club responsible for paying for that number of golfers, only to have the outing forceably re-scheduled at the last minute due to weather or other unforseen occurence, It is assumed that the golfers who have signed up for that event will participate in the ensuing re-scheduled event. The club will do everything that it can to get the course to allow those who can't make the reschedule date to withdraw and receive a rebate from the club, or credit their monies toward another event. It is (and this is the important part) completely the responsibility of the individual golfer to notify the club that they cannot make the re-schedule date, or it will be assumed that they are still attending. If they do notify the club, in a reasonable timeframe, the club will act in their behalf to attempt to reduce the count with the course. We will not be attempting to reach each and every person, who has registered and paid, to verify that they still intend to play.

In addition, if you weren't originally signed up, but would like to attend the re-scheduled event, contact the club and we will see if we can make some switches to facilitate crediting those who can't.
